Leinore UPGRAYEDD

Taking the Coven Counters precon from Innistrad: Midnight Hunt, I upgrayedd the shell into something more focused and workable. I decided to go with Leinore over Kyler simply because Kyler is just such a heat magnet for removal, and at 5 mana he almost becomes to cost intensive after the first time he's killed, which I guarantee will be almost immediately.

This deck leans into the coven and human tribal themes, with 37 of the 41 creatures being humans, and 2 others being angels with human synergies. We swap out some of the slower lands and non-synergistic pieces for faster ramp, some mid-priced selesnya lands, and some more removal.

The goal of the deck is to overwhelm the board with humans, have their synergies bounce off each other, and then hit them with a piece that allows you to overwhelm the opponents defences. With an average mana value of 2.1 with lands and 3.3 without, and with Leinore being a value piece rather than a bomb, you can grow your board and also recover from any boardwipes fairly easily.

If you take away the "nice to have" pieces of Esper Sentinel, Smothering Tithe, and the battlebond and shockland, you can piece this together for about $150. As of this printing, this deck as constructed has a a current value of $220.89.
